The short version
- Your first full service is done within 28 days of signing up.
- You have a 14-day cooling-off period. Cancel in that time and you get back everything you’ve paid.
- After the cooling-off period, the membership is a 12-month commitment. If you cancel, you pay the rest of that membership year.
- If we don’t do your service within 28 days (and it isn’t because we couldn’t get access), you can cancel with nothing more to pay.
1. What’s included
For each air conditioner on your membership, once every membership year:
- One full service: filters, indoor coil, drain and outdoor unit cleaned
- Electrical and performance checks
- A photo job report after the visit
- A reminder when your next service is due
Repairs, parts, refrigerant and extra visits are not included. If we find a problem, we’ll explain it and give you a price. We won’t do extra work without your OK.
2. Price and payment
| System type | Per year | Per month incl. GST |
|---|---|---|
| Wall split | $150 + GST ($165) | $13.75 |
| Ceiling cassette, under-ceiling or ducted | $350 + GST ($385) | $32.08 |
Payments are taken monthly by card through Stripe, starting on the day you sign up. A membership year is the 12 months from your sign-up date, and then each 12 months from that date.
If our prices change, we’ll tell you in writing at least 30 days before your next membership year starts. You can cancel before then with nothing more to pay.
3. Your first service within 28 days
We’ll contact you to book your service and complete it within 28 days of the day you sign up. We need safe access to every system. If you can’t give us access in that time, the 28 days is extended until you can.
Unless you ask us to come sooner, we’ll book your first service for after the 14-day cooling-off period ends.
4. 14-day cooling-off period
You can cancel for any reason within 14 days of signing up, and we’ll refund everything you’ve paid.
If you asked us to service your systems during the cooling-off period and we’ve done it, the cooling-off refund no longer applies. If you then cancel, section 5 applies.
5. Cancelling after the cooling-off period
Our price is based on a full year of membership. If you cancel after the cooling-off period, you agree to pay the remaining monthly payments for the current membership year. We’ll charge that amount when you cancel, and then your membership ends and no further payments are taken.
Example: one wall split, cancelled after 4 months. You’ve paid 4 × $13.75 = $55. The remaining 8 × $13.75 = $110 is charged when you cancel.
Exception: if we haven’t completed your service within 28 days of signing up, and the delay wasn’t because we couldn’t get access, you can cancel at any time before the service is done. You’ll have nothing more to pay and we’ll refund what you’ve paid.
6. After your first year
Your membership carries on into a new membership year on each anniversary of your sign-up date. We’ll remind you at least 30 days before. If you don’t want to continue, tell us before the anniversary and there’s nothing more to pay. Once a new membership year starts, section 5 applies to that year (there’s no cooling-off period on renewals).
7. Missed payments
If a payment fails, Stripe will try again and email you. If it’s still unpaid after 14 days, we may hold off on servicing until it’s paid. The amount stays owing.
8. Adding systems, moving or selling
- Adding a system: any time. Its price starts from the next payment.
- Removing a system: takes effect from your next membership year.
- Moving within our service area: we’ll move your membership to your new address.
- Moving outside our service area or selling: you can cancel. If this year’s service has been done, section 5 applies. If it hasn’t, there’s nothing more to pay.
9. How to cancel or ask a question
